Anyone applying for Calhoun's nursing program this fall? I am and I am really anxious and excited!!!
Oh, and a bunch of students I've talked to say that the Nursing club has a scrubs sale at the beginning of the semester and you can usually get really good deals on uniforms there. A lot of the people who just graduated are posting their books for sale for way cheaper than new or even in the packages. I'm not buying anything until I get an acceptance letter, though, so I'm hoping there are still some good deals around later.
I'm worried too on technicality issues. I'm staying attached at the hip with my cell phone until tomorrow at 5pm. Then it's just sit and wait....
I contacted the manager of the Decatur Bookstore and this is what he said they used last Spring but he couldn't say if that was what they were going to use this Fall. Here is the list:

He didn't specify if it was a package or not. But I am hoping with everything in my soul it's not just first semester all these are required. Heck the tuition is expensive enough. Then the nurse packs and all other fees, which are listed in the Catalog.
And I am old school. I like paper books. Ebooks do have a benefit when you can CTRL F and find stuff quickly but I am still more partial to paper textbooks
You do use them more than one semester. My friend in the program now said they told them to not sell their books because they will need them again. I understand completely about the ebook thing, I had one a few semesters ago and hated it. I am just ready to get my letter and find out if I got in. The waiting is killing me!
