Calhoun CC Fall 2014

I just took my TEAS today and I am mailing in my application on Saturday seeing that transcripts are not up yet. I hope to goodness I get in. I made a 74% on the TEAS-V and I have an A in both A&P I&II. I have not taken micro..I take that in the summer. Crossing my fingers. My total score is 137 points upon trying to get in for fall. If I get a B in micro or more i am looking at 157-167 points come Spring 2015. HOPE I GET IN I AM SO WANTING THIS!

Good luck! I think you're score is good! I've searched past Calhoun threads, and I think there was only one time where the cutoff was near 137. Which track are you applying for?

I'm applying for ADN day. I actually was able to drop off app today. I'm feeling positive about it but also scared! I hope I am ready for this!

I ended up with 172 pts. They told us at the intro meeting that last time the point cut off was 132 so I think we will all so far be ok.

Just dropped of my app. Just so everyone will be aware, my friend went with me to drop off hers and she didn't bring her unofficial transcript from Calhoun because she thought they could pull it themselves. BUT NO... They said that if everything isn't in your app packet exactly as requested they will discard it immediately. So we had to go to the library and print hers to attach.

Fortunately we thought to inquire about it before we left because it would have immediately cost her admittance this go round.

Yeah they're fairly strict on that. I received a call from their office about an hour after I dropped my packet off, saying that I wasn't unconditionally admitted to Calhoun. You bet your behind I went right back to Calhoun to the admissions department to sort that out! Good luck, everyone!

Yea it's scary. Now that my friend had an oopsie. I'm paranoid about mine even though I checked and rechecked it multiple times.

They sent mine back when I applied too, forgot a copy of my transcripts from another school even though they had a copy on file. I mailed it again the same week and that was in April.

I dropped mine off first thing yesterday morning, and so far no one's called to tell me I forgot something/attached the wrong thing. I have enough points, but I'm seriously worried I've done something wrong and will get thrown out on a technicality.
