Alblove which Littman did you get? From all I have read the Med Surge is next semester. They also didn't tell us about jewelry, hairspray etc... Someone said you have to have unscented everything, hairspray, deodorant etc...

I have the Classic II S.E. On the Littmann site it has a profession selector to suggest one and that's one of the ones that came up for nursing. I have also heard the same about jewelry and perfumes. I also heard that your hair has to be worn back in a ponytail or something if it's longer. I'm pretty surprised they didn't cover that.

One of the advisors in our room was talking about that stuff, but it wasn't for my group and I didn't hear a lot of what she was saying. I know she said earrings had to be studs, hair had to be tied back so it doesn't fall in your face.

I heard from some other students that you cannot wear any fingernail polish and nails cannot be seen over tops of your fingers. Wonder if I can wear my wedding band?

Our advisor in our small group said you can wear your wedding ring if you want to but they recommend that you don't or that you get a plain band to wear because they have seen people lose stones or the ring taking gloves on and off. She told us no fingernail polish and nails must not come above the tip of the finger. One set of earrings may be worn, but they must be studs. Hair has to be tied back. She didn't mention anything about the perfume and hairspray.

Only a few more days! I am super nervous! Did anyone else have a delay in the background and health fees being taken from their bank accounts? Mine finally went through yesterday after almost two weeks.

There has been many issues with the ESS company. It took me DAYS to get my information to them because there fax line was down for a few days and there email address wasn't receiving messages. Do we or do we not have to have a flu vaccine? My mom manages a doctors office and she said there will be no vaccines out till the end of next month and a guy said that Walgreen's has the vaccines, I called and they said no.

You don't have to have it yet but when they come in we will have to get one. My Dr. just made a note on my form that it's not in season yet. I signed the waiver also but I will get it and upload it to them in a couple of months.
