Anyone applying for Calhoun's nursing program this fall? I am and I am really anxious and excited!!!
Alblove you just a yungin! I worked in the Financial Management field for over 20 years. Relocated here to AL from TX to be closer to grandbabies and was laid off within a year. Go figure. I decided to go to college, get my pre reqs done and go for it. And here I am. Happy, excited, anxious and skeered to death.
I've never had the Hep B series. Guess I need to go to the doc and get them started. My mom found a copy of my immunization record, but my last tetorifice isn't on there...guess I'll be getting one of those done too. And titers for chicken pox (had 'em when I was 8). Fuuuun.
I'll be 35 next month, so not a young 'un either. It's ok, though. Nothing wrong with trying a different road. :)

I started on them earlier this year but the tb test is two weeks and the hepatitis shots are every couple of months but as long as you start the hepatitis series you're fine. I still have to go back for the physical, hepatitis shots, and have a titer done for chicken pox but I am going to do that after orientation.
