I'm doing the PTE program with Health Assessment and Pharmacology the first semester but they are listed as 1 credit hour each so I would only be billed for 2 hours right? I will probably have to take another class to be part time since I have all of my pre-reqs for Calhoun already. I figured I would work on BSN classes in the meantime.
I have used it to rent a book before and it was easy. Just keep the box and print off a label at the end of the semester and you're done. Sometimes they even offer an ebook you can use until yours comes in.
I'm nervous about buying any book yet because when I emailed the manager of the bookstore he said he did. It know yet if they were going to change editions.
Captain Russ Kennington, EMS Instructor, 256-772-2889. The class in July is on the 12th. You will need to leave your name and number and he will call you back. It takes him a couple of days to return the call.
It's a fundamentals of nursing Vol 2 textbook, (looks like a sea shell on the cover). I am not buying anything just yet. I was just browsing. It was the same book Calhoun uses, but they may have came out with a new volume so that could also be why it's so cheap.
I am getting nervous about everything and having it all together in time. I wonder how much time they will give us to have everything turned in after orientation? I wish it was a lot sooner. I hate doing things the last minute
I agree. Seems like they waited a long time for orientation. With all the injections and tests we have to have. And it's not like you can get a doc appt on the fly. Can we just go to the doctor and get all those shots at once? Tetnus. MMR. TB tests. Hep B. And whatever else was listed
