I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has applied or is planning to apply for the Summer 2017 cohort of Cal State San Marco's ABSN program? This cohort is at the satellite campus in Temecula.
I finally just finished all my pre-reqs and was able to complete my application today ( I had a couple classes to finish during the Fall term. )
I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has heard back? I have my points evaluation but that is the only thing I have gotten back so far!!

There are two 5-week summer sessions. The first one is June 5th - July 8th, and the classes are online. They are offering the anthropology course (culture and medicine) and philosphy (medical ethics, i think?)
The second summer session is July 10th - August 12th, and they are offering the nutrition course. This one says on the student portal that its an in-person class in Temecula, but that is subject to change.
If you already took any of these classes, it would definitely change your schedule. For example, I already took nutrition as a prereq, so I will not be physically reporting to the school until fall semester starts on August 28th, but I will be taking the 2 courses online during the first half of summer.
Hello everyone :) I am interested in the absn program at CSUSM, but since I work full time I have to take the science pre req's at night. Does anyone know if we can take A&P 1 and A&P 2 at seperate colleges if they are sequentially done? For example take A&P 1 at one college then A&P 2 at a totally different one..Same thing for Chemistry 1 & 2
I have applied for the Spring 2018 cohort and I would like to get a jump on the reading. I know the assigned texts may be different, but any suggestions will help. I was wondering if anyone can give me a clue what the first semester schedule will be? I have heard that it is all day Fridays. Is that true? The tentative schedule of classes for the first semester includes BIOL 323, PHIL 345 and ANTH 301. Does this sound right? If anyone can provide copies of syllabi or just book lists for the first semester classes, I will be grateful. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
