Just wanted to get the momentum moving for CSUN's BSN program. I got my letter today confirming that my application is in. Already knew that since I hand delivered it ahead of schedule. Now only 4 months to go before I hear anything. How will I ever not lose my mind?

No. I have a 3.8 or something like that in pre-reqs and already took Epidemiology at CSUN. I got a B in Anatomy. Really not sure what else I can do at this point. I've been volunteering in a hospital for over a year, I've been working with JDRF for decades, I mentor teens. Not sure what else they are looking for.

BTW, I was told just because you don't get an interview doesn't mean that you won't be accepted. This may sound good, but has anyone gotten accepted that did not get invited for an interview?

Thats what I heard as well, but when I attended the info sessions we were told that about 50 get interviews and then they choose the 36 students from there. Not trying to burst anyones bubble, Im just confused because when I called I was also told that not being interviewed was not an indication of a rejection from the school. Its all so stressful!! Has anyone taking the Teas exam?

Hi guys,

Had my interview today. It was only 10 minutes with three of the faculty. Really laid back.

I wasn't able to find out if they're doing any more interviews, but unless they scheduled 50 people today, I imagine there will be more interview days...

10minutes? What kind of information can they get in that amount of time? What did they ask you?

They asked how I plan to deal with the academic and financial intensiveness of the program, what makes me stand out, and if there was any additional info I wanted to share. Then they let me ask some questions.

Bada bing, bada boom. :-P
