Just wanted to get the momentum moving for CSUN's BSN program. I got my letter today confirming that my application is in. Already knew that since I hand delivered it ahead of schedule. Now only 4 months to go before I hear anything. How will I ever not lose my mind?

I'm part of the Summer 2010 class. Received the orientation materials on Thurs., Apr. 29 via email. There's a long list of things that need to be taken care of before Orientation on May 20th. Scrubs are about $20 per piece + shipping through allheart.com, so it's ~$50 per set. If someone finds the items for cheaper, will you let me know please? Thanks.

does anyone know where I could find cheap nursing shoes? as for the scrubs, allheart's price is one of the cheapest.

Does CSUN have a specific style/color of shoe they're going to require us to wear? I'm in for the fall so I haven't received my info packet yet, so I don't know. But, if they don't, I would suggest whichever shoe is going to be most comfortable for you. As far as I can tell from what my nursing friends tell me, and by the nurses I see in the hospital where I work, it' pretty much preference. They don't wear nursing shoes, mostly nike, NB, and versions of those new skecher walk/tone shoes.

I know summer cohort is probably completely overwhelmed with work right now, but if anyone has a moment, can someone please email me the immunization requirements for the program. I was told that they won't be sending out the fall info packets until June, early July and I'll be out of town for most of July. I'd like to get those out of the way ASAP while I have the time. Hello,

I have been accepted to the summer cohort for the Accelerated BSN at CSUN of 2011. It starts the end of May this year. I really want to connect with a few students that are currently in the 2010 cohorts. I see on this thread that ellyBC was accpeted last year. I would love to hear about the program, pros and cons, possible books to buy from current students if they want to sell them...etc.

Would love to hear from anyone currently or in cohorts of the past.
