I found out April 16th

I got accepted to the FNP program this Fall.

Same here... 1 more hour till 6pm..

Has anyone gotten an e-mail from them yet?

I applied to FNP, with adult/gero as my 2nd choice. What's your specialty right now? I'm in pulmonary telemetry.

I applied as well but haven't heard anything yet.

The difference between CSUN and MSM is only 3 month. I'd rather go for an extra 3 month and save myself thousands and thousands in loans (add interest to that, and you'll be working your first year just to pay off the extra loans). I'd choose CSUN over MSM any day as well.

Hey, I am currently in CSUN A-BSN... They take 36 people a year. 18 start in the summer and 18 start in the Fall. They do not interview everyone, because if 300 apply, they might interview about 50, and out of those 50, they will select 36. Last year we were getting interviews in March, and acceptance letters around April. So there's still a few weeks. Good luck!

I called them today too, and they couldn't give me any information. Your qualifications sound incredible, I'm surprised they didn't accept you... It's pretty frustrating.

Yes, I was interviewed, and I thought it went pretty well, I just wish I knew what else I could have done...I guess we'll see what happens.

I was put on an alternate list... so the only way I'll be in is if someone drops out. I'm so dissapointed. It's the 2nd year I am applying.... I have a 4.0 on my science prereqs, 3.8 on my bachelors/upper division... Great recommendations, some internship experience in healthcare facilities, etc. And still can't get in. And I actually thought this will be the year:( On the other note, congrats to those of you who made it!

People really need to think it through if they're up for such a job. I hope you get through this and find the kind of work you enjoy. The good thing in nursing is that there's many fields to go into...
