  1. I think they hired 8 into the ED and 4 into maternity. No prior nursing experience.
  2. Yes, I was accepted into their new grad program.
  3. All of my references were completed yesterday. Are all of yours completed? Im keeping my fingers crossed for you guys. I know there are still more interviews going on next week so they certainly have called nor filled all of the position yet. Stay positive!
  4. I got a job offer today, anyone else get a call?
  5. @DK_RN She had two completed references when she was called. It wasn't until after that they rest completed. I know they are still interviewing next week so Im keeping my fingers crossed that I still am in the running.
  6. Im in the same boat. I interviewed, did the live scan, and just completed my references. My friend got a call the next day being offered a job. itsnowornever what do you mean by "They wanted us to move up one position to teach the super users."?
  7. hey 73ss86, where you one of the students that was apart of the whole accelerated sdsu fiasco? aftere that program fell through i appllied to nationals program in la and i am a part of cohort 4. its a great program, good luck to you!
  8. I don't know what my essay (they don't tell you) or total score was, but I did get an A in the biomedical course and a 92% on the TEAS exam.
  9. Im in the LA cohort starting in 5 weeks, and I cant wait! Thanks for all the advice you have all shared, it's really helped tremendously!
  10. Wow 5 books! Im curious to know as well if people are buying all the suggested books. I have orientation for the LA campus next week, Im pretty excited!
  11. It's not 1800, its more like 1300.
  12. happymommy3, Thank you so much, that was very helpful. What is this test though that they make you take?
  13. happymommy3, What was orientation like? Im in LA and have orientation on Sept 17. I was curious to know what they go over and supply you since they charge a good amount for orientation. Thanks!
  14. I am selling my "Statistics and Data Analysis for Nursing Research" book from the biomedical Class for $40 if anyone is interested.
  15. The biomedical stats class isnt bad at all, and its easy to get an A. The teas was a little random and I would suggest getting the study guide put out by ATI. They pull a lot of questions similar to the reviews they have in the book so its worth purchasing. The essay wasnt too bad either, just make sure you answer the question directly. There are 20 students in this cohort and the first class begins in Novemeber.
