If you obtained your LVN license by "alternate route" and not by graduation from a school of practical nursing or verified equivalent US military training. & experience you are likely not eligible for endorsement. If you obtained a CA LVN license by "equivalency" CABVNPT is clear that this is a license only valid in CA and generally NOT eligible for endorsement to other US states. VA BoN states if not US military or practical nursing graduate you need to call VA BoN before applying and losing the non-refundable fees for licensing by endorsement. The regulations are pretty specific.

duplicate thread merged.....are you already licensed in CA?
From CA BVNPT: re: licensing by equivalent education or experience ("method 3")
Please note that achieving licensure via the equivalency method may limit the licensee's ability to be hired as a licensed vocational nurse or psychiatric technician. No other state accepts licensees who have been licensed via this method. In addition to licensure, some health care facilities within California require that their potential employees be graduates of approved nursing or psychiatric technician programs. Such facilities will not hire licensees who have achieved licensure via the equivalency method. If you have questions about licensure in another state, please contact that state's board of nursing. If you have questions about the hiring practice of a particular health care facility in California, please contact that facility.
I just called them and they told me that i can endorsed my license as long as i have ces
