I recently graduated from a school in Florida and I'm now trying to endorse a CA license. I've submitted everything to the board of nursing and I have not heard a thing. I know they're investigating schools, but my school isn't on the list and I did work hard to complete my program. Is anyone else in this situation? I've waited 7 weeks. I know it could take 10-12weeks. I just have a job lined up and want to start soon. I hate I'm in this situation, it's so not fair for those who've worked hard.
Thanks

Thanks @stelle85 was it recent I call BON this week they act like they can't give up information at all its so frustrating
?
You're welcome! They are so difficult to get answers from them, but I can tell you that you will have absolutely no issues from the board in regard to those schools. Signed someone who attended one of them LOL
I noticed you sent me a message but I couldn't reply. Care hope does not have issues endorsing in California. Care Hope is currently Accredited Nationally not Programmatically. They had to get National first before they could apply for the programmatic one. You can look care hope on CHEA they are recognized by the United States Department of Education. I cant speak for the other school but I know they are nationally are programmatically accredited. That I can tell you.

Care Hope is approved
CheapeIf yr.
Ichs accredited- so many baddddd reviews ?
Cost more
If you want to make sure that your degree will fly in California, why don't you just go to a fully accredited college that has classes besides nursing and patient tech classes. You won't have to worry about losing your money. It may take a little longer to go to a junior college, but you can go anywhere without having to take an extra course because California requires it and you won't lose any money. Care Hope has a very scary website and looks like they scraped a scam together quickly. Protect youself or just read all of the comments here on AN from Florida students who haven't been able to work because they went to a school that doesn't have your interests at heart.
Care Hope College accreditation listed as institutional Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, Accreditation Commission: Accredited since (10/24/2023)
This is NOT a national nursing accreditation organization. They are ACEN and CCNE where one can review a nursing programs accreditation status.
FL BON prelicensure programs lists Cape Hope College Jupiter FL location Associate and Practical Nursing programs with Probationary status. Bachelors Program licensed 6/2018 is approved with first NCLEX pass rate listed in 4th quarter 2022 as 100%.
Please do further due diligence with the state BON for those considering this program, especially when looking at future license reciprocity outside Florida.
