CA Endorsement from a Florida school

Updated:   Published

I recently graduated from a school in Florida and I'm now trying to endorse a CA license. I've submitted everything to the board of nursing and I have not heard a thing. I know they're investigating schools, but my school isn't on the list and I did work hard to complete my program. Is anyone else in this situation?  I've waited 7 weeks. I know it could take 10-12weeks. I just have a job lined up and want to start soon. I hate I'm in this situation, it's so not fair for those who've worked hard.

Thanks

Congratulations! Does this mean all graduates from Victory will also be approved? I have been looking into this program but have been scared.

Thank you for the regular updates.

Any updates anyone?

Anyone here still waiting for endorsement to be  aproved in CA.  It's been since August 2023 still waiting.

My friend is still waiting since last year around April.

I went to ECPI University in lake mary florida. I just called my program president and told them to look out for an 8 page form that Ca board is going to have them sign!

My program was a BSN fully accredited so maybe why it went by so fast!!

Good morning not to derail the thread but how was the acceptance process for ECPI? How long did it take you to find out you were accepted? What were your stats?

Hi Janice,

My wife is currently going through the same process you went through. She is the first graduate from the nursing program to apply for a CA license by endorsement. We applied for a CA Temp license; they withdrew the money, but after that, we were told by the CA BRN that they will not issue any temp license to any FL graduate who is going through this process until the program is approved.

We applied for endorsement and temp on 09/11

The school sent the required documents on 11/04

My question, did you run through anything like that when you applied for a temp?

TIA.
