CA Endorsement from a Florida school

I recently graduated from a school in Florida and I'm now trying to endorse a CA license. I've submitted everything to the board of nursing and I have not heard a thing. I know they're investigating schools, but my school isn't on the list and I did work hard to complete my program. Is anyone else in this situation?  I've waited 7 weeks. I know it could take 10-12weeks. I just have a job lined up and want to start soon. I hate I'm in this situation, it's so not fair for those who've worked hard.

This probably isn't helpful and I hope others chime in, but I called the CA board of RN last week and they said ALL Florida schools and people endorsing ANY FL RN license to CA, they're all on hold. I tried to ask about school specifics and they said all of the schools are under investigation in FL so they can't give any info about any of them.

Hopefully someone else will comment with more info!

I'm so sorry, I hope it gets fixed soon. I just started attending an unaccredited school but after hearing this I don't know what to think.

California endorsements have always taken forever. I applied way back in 2014 and it took 4 months back then and there were no Florida/State investigation going on. Keep the faith, you will get endorsed. Believe this, working in Cali is worth the wait.

I did hear from the board. It's awaiting game now. They are say they're investigating and no further information can be give. I also asked if I can apply for a temp license and was told no?

I'm waiting to endorse too from FL, the boards said until the investigation is over, they will proceed. In the meantime it's definitely a waiting game.

Hi guys.  I am too a graduate from Florida.  Started my endorsement in March and still waiting.  I was fortunate enough to be issued a temp but that is coming to an end and I am devastated.

I just heard Ca is starting to approve applications from FL...I will find out more info

My classmate applied for license endorsement from FL to CA in April, and it just got approved. So hopefully the ball gets rolling for the rest of the endorsements.

Do you mind me asking if the school was just approved or was it accredited ?
