CA Endorsement from a Florida school

Updated:   Published

I recently graduated from a school in Florida and I'm now trying to endorse a CA license. I've submitted everything to the board of nursing and I have not heard a thing. I know they're investigating schools, but my school isn't on the list and I did work hard to complete my program. Is anyone else in this situation?  I've waited 7 weeks. I know it could take 10-12weeks. I just have a job lined up and want to start soon. I hate I'm in this situation, it's so not fair for those who've worked hard.

Thanks

Our school was accredited and was in good standing with the boards.

My classmate applied for license endorsement from FL to CA in April, and it just got approved. So hopefully the ball gets rolling for the rest of the endorsements.

Which Florida school did they go to?

I started mine in March and still nothing...I went to ichs as well

Hopefully they will get to u real soon. If they are approving now, I'm sure it will be a process because there's a lot of endorsements on hold.

Has anyone heard anything else?

Finally the school is no longer under review... finally got endorsed ....

Thank God, when did u apply?

I am just confirming I got endorsed today! I believe ca is starting endorsements again. Good luck and hopefully everyone will get endorsed without a problem soon.

I'm going through the same thing with my endorsement in California from Florida. I applied for endorsement in January. Did you call the board to find out about your approval for endorsement? Or did you find out online or received it in the mail?

Oh, I hounded the board via phone calls, checking on the application status and it appeared in the mail a couple wks later. Be prepared for long wait time on hold when you call. Keep the faith!

Thank you so much for the response. I've been calling almost every week. There was an update online yesterday. Hopefully I'll be endorsed soon. They asked my school for a second transcript, so I'm hoping this is a good sign.
