CA Endorsement from a Florida school

I recently graduated from a school in Florida and I'm now trying to endorse a CA license. I've submitted everything to the board of nursing and I have not heard a thing. I know they're investigating schools, but my school isn't on the list and I did work hard to complete my program. Is anyone else in this situation?  I've waited 7 weeks. I know it could take 10-12weeks. I just have a job lined up and want to start soon. I hate I'm in this situation, it's so not fair for those who've worked hard.

I been  waiting since October  last  year.  What are the requested  from your school  to expedite  this process. 

I went to ECPI University in lake mary florida. I just called my program president and told them to look out for an 8 page form that Ca board is going to have them sign!

My program was a BSN fully accredited so maybe why it went by so fast!!

Hello,  I still waiting for endorsement approval since July 2023. They told me it is under FBI investigation and Board will start processing until this issue gets cleared.

thats the protocol for all schools. Have you asked if they started the review on your specific school?

I have been approved for my permanent license took about 4 months. Trust me its gonna take patience but it will pay off and you will get licensed in Ca. It's worth the wait. Im starting a job at 60 plus an hour. Keep the faith!!

I went through that as well. I applied last January 2023, and got approved May 2024.

Hello, you really can't get a straight answer as to what's going on with the review from the board, unfortunately.  After the California board completes the FBI review, they will request a 9-page packet from one student who attended the school you attended. Once the packet is sent back to the board, it goes through another review process to see if it meets the California educational requirements. Then if so, they will approved your endorsement. I was never given time frames because they state they can't give any. It's always hurry up and wait, smh. My school was approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, not accredited. They are in the process of going through the accreditition process.
