Bunker Hill Community College 2014 Applicants

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Just wondering if there was anyone out there that is applying to the Bunker Hill Community College Nursing Program this year. I'm hopefully applying in the next application cycle after this semester of Micro, Drug Calc, and a Philosophy class. I'm looking into the night/weekend courses. Current GPA of 3.2.

That's awesome LeeMay!! I won't be able to apply until the very end of August. Time seems to be going by so slowly but my last few prereqs. Are keeping me occupied!

Same here I'm taking a summer class for bunker hill. Once it's done I can apply. Good luck ladies!

Thanks! Good luck to you too!!

Is anyone a CNA? After the first session of summer classes is over I'm going to be doing a training. Mostly to get more patient contact experience and to have another option for work during school if I can't work full time. I'm excited!

No I'm currently an MA and work in plastic surgery! It's really helpful having experience with patients especially for clinicals

That's awesome- Plastic surgery must be so interesting!

Yes I love it! I've learned so much

How long is the actual program?

I believe the 2 years does not include summers though...at least for nursing courses? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. So summers would be a great time to do co-reqs such as Micro if you haven't already completed them. I wish it included summers for a more timely finish but, it'll do!

Had my interview today at Lawrence Memorial!!! I feel like it went great. I wish BHCC would give a decision sooner than Nov... If I get accepted to Lawrence Memorial they require the non-refundable deposit within 30 days since I applied for Jan... That kinda stinks... It's a good chunk of money to throw away if let's say I then get accepted to BHCC and decide to go there... Ugh decisions decisions!

Wow, that's awesome! Glad to hear it went well! Yeah, from what I hear BHCC is not timely at all with acceptance letters. Some of the threads on here make it seem like there's been years where people do t find out until a few weeks before classes start and around thanksgiving time at the earliest.

That certainly makes for a tough decision :(

I got accepted to Lawrence Memorial/Regis! Received my email today. I chose to start in Jan. I'm very excited. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with LM/RC it just feels like the right place for me. I'm still interested to see what BHCC says but I'll be sending in my deposit which pretty much seals my deal!
