Bunker Hill Community College 2014 Applicants

Just wondering if there was anyone out there that is applying to the Bunker Hill Community College Nursing Program this year. I'm hopefully applying in the next application cycle after this semester of Micro, Drug Calc, and a Philosophy class. I'm looking into the night/weekend courses. Current GPA of 3.2.

Good to know...I'm not sure who my Micro or Drug Calc classes will be with yet but hopefully they'll be helpful. I'm actually not taking Drug Calc online - I hope this isn't a mistake...I just figured I'd understand better if I went to an actual lecture. Wow - three kids! It will definitely be a crazy couple of years. I don't have any children but I work 40 hours a week and I'm really hoping I don't have to cut hours or change jobs until at least the second semester (I've heard it is the most difficult).

Hello! I took the drug calculation class last summer and it was a piece of cake. I am currently taking micro, it's a lot but you will get through it. I have to take a math course over the summer that I signed up for yesterday. I currently work full time and will do so until I feel that I need to cut back. Thankfully my hours are flexible! Have you guys applied anywhere else?

I have not applied anywhere else. I'd love to do an accelerated program or a direct-entry NP but I already have a Bachelors and Masters and all the debt that comes with it. My only affordable options are the associates programs and Bunker Hill is the most convenient to my work (5 min walk!). I may apply to Roxbury's program as I live close to their school but I'd be worried about getting to classes as I'd have to commute from Charlestown and currently I work until 4pm.

I was just accepted to regis for their nursing program. I am going to start with a few no nursing courses that they require. I requested for Jan start, this way it will also give me time to hear back from BHCC

I am going to apply to the Lawrence Memorial Nursing Program also. I need a night/weekend program due to the fact I have to keep working.

Has anyone taken the CPT Reading assessment at Bunker Hill yet? I know it is required for all applicants. I'm assuming it's a lot like the TEAS Reading section.
