BSN program @ UFV September 2014 Intake

Hello,

I have just completed my application for the BSN program at UFV for the September 2014 Intake. I thought I would start this thread for anyone wanting to share their thoughts, ask some questions etc. The deadline is fast approaching! As far as I know interviews take place in March and decisions usually are done in May. I have a sister who is in fourth semester at UFV and is loving it! She found this site very helpful while going through the application process as it tends to be a long one!

I was in the front wearing scrubs. :)

Ok so at the info session I'm the guy with black framed glasses. :-) Excited for today and nervous!

@Meghan, Neverland, riitarita, how was the last night's session and how do you think you all did? I had no idea on what to wear so, I almost brought a pair of scrubs to wear. :cheeky: Does anyone have their interview booked on next Friday?

I think I did good...I tried to really focus on actually answering the questions. Some of them are a little tricky like that, they ask you what your options WOULD be, not necessarily what would you actually DO in a situation. Just got the email to book my interview, so we'll see when it is. I am going to go as early as possible. Once I've booked my interview, I am banning myself from obsessive email checking and allnurses until the end of April. Its going to be hard, but it must be done! I'm currently in 5 classes, and have TONS to do with end of semester and exams coming up.

I just got invited for an interview and to right the essay questions! Definitely was not expecting it after hearing all the info sessions with no invite. I am extremely happy at the moment!!

Hello, I'm very new to this you could say. Literally viewed a bunch of forums today and just created an account. I don't know if anyones had any problems yet like mine, but today I was blown away when I received an email saying to call and book an interview time. It was literally the first shred of information i've received about the program so far. Second year applying, and I never got any letters about the info sessions this year. To be honestly I completely forgot about how fast the dates were coming up, being busy with final assignments and full time work I didn't see this coming. Feeling a little stressed with having to run around gather all my info, it'll be fun. Am I the only one that had this little surprise? Maybe they forgot about me ahah. Any information about the info session would be great!
