Just wondering if anybody applied for Jan full time RN? If so what points did you receive? I got 14 total points, hopefully it's enough to get me in
I applied to the Jan program but I my grades have not been evaluated yet. But doing the math and plugging in the numbers i have 16 points without HOSA and w/o being a broward resident.
The bcc advisor told me that last semester the gpa average for acceptance was 3.1 for broward residents and 3.2 for out of county. Which is think is really really easy compared to dade county which last semester the cut off gpa was 3.81 accumulative gpa.
Good luck to everyone. I applied to the South Campus, lets all hope for the best!

That is wonderful :yeah:you should have no trouble getting in.
So that means you got all A's in all the pre-reqs?? Awesome!! Honestly, HOSA points are not that common, so it would be extremely rare for someone with a 4.0 GPA to not get in without being a Broward resident or having the HOSA points. Good luck to you once you start the program in January!

If you are going to go to north for the program then you can check out the process 1 instructor's website:
http://Http://www.broward.edu/~gbrickma
Under the "calendar" section there's the reading list and the calendar for process 1 & 2 so you can see what's on each test and do the corresponding reading. If you want to get a head start on the reading, you can do that. Also, as leavingteaching usually recommends, work on your critical thinking skills.
