Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.
Hello Nichole,
I just wanted to 'thank you' again for all you do and have done for us all over the past weeks (months). I know it hasn't been easy for you at times and even being on this forum is way above and beyond your call of duty. It is sincerely much appreciated and respected.
Your professionalism, courtesy and efficient responses have been very informative and supportive. I hope you know how much your extra effort has meant to us through this very nerve wrecking and exciting time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH :) I know I told you this yesterday, but really, you have been amazing!! I look forward to starting the program and keeping in touch with you to cry things out. (keep the Kleenex on hand)!
Getting in to see a health science advisor before registration, do they accept walk ins or is it by appointment only ?
It is best to make an appointment. If you cannot get in to see a health science advisor, you can see a regular advisor prior to registration. If you are going in to check holds, you can also do it through your MYBC account, or with the admissions/registration office.

Aww thanks so much! It is my pleasure to do what I do. Some days are crazy; but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Definitely keep in touch, let us know how you are doing! We love hearing it!
Hey guys
Now that we've gone through orientation and waiting on that email to see what classes to register for on 11/8. Are there any student working on getting his/her certification yet? Namely: Domestic Violence, HIV, TB, BLS, Prevention of Medical Errors, Fl Laws and Rules?
I am waiting until after registration to start working on them. Does anyone know of anyplace other that BC in Broward that does the courses. BC prices seem a little pricey . Anything will do to help with cost. I can't help but notice the first semester will cost us $2800.00. $$$$$ all the way.

In the meetings we mentioned that the program offices will accept certificates from online websites like ceufast.com, etc. As for your BLS card, if the dates at BC do not work for you, you can do it outside of BC. Just be sure that it is the American Heart Association, you are getting the physical card, you are taking the BLS course, and you complete the course through a reputable location (fire stations, hospitals, etc).
Good afternoon,In the pre-admissions session, I stated emails will go out by Monday (close of business) since we have to manually update everyone. Everyone will have them before registration opens on Tuesday.
Nichole
thank you Nichole I couldn't remember what you said. Plus I didn't want to send you an email as you probably have hundreds with question you probably already answered in the meeting

Ceufast.com is $30 for one year of unlimited certifications. I already did all mine (except for BLS, it has to be done in person), printed them and put them in my important documents binder :)
Are you in the Facebook group? I posted links for ceufast.
