Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Status change when? If alternates are offered seats, the status will change once they accept the seat that is being offered.

When do alternates normally find out if a seat becomes available? Is it Wednesday evening?

Change on MyBC account

Yes, if a student is offered a seat, and accepts the seat, the status will be updated and reflected on their MYBC account.

Alternates statuses will not change prior to pre-admissions if that is what you are asking

All alternates are in the Wednesday at 1pm meeting.

It can be anytime from Wednesday up until the RN program offices confirm with me that they are full and will no longer be accepting any new students.

One more question :facepalm:, I know you cannot say for sure, but based on pass semesters was there seats that became available for alternates? And when would you say the latest estimated timeframe for a response would be? End of november?

Last semester our alternates did not get in. Semesters before they have. I should know before Thanksgiving if the campuses are satisfied with their numbers.
