Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Yea I already have a few items from other endeavors, but I am just going to wait until after decisions go out to even consider buying something. Im just taking things a step at a time. Hopefully by this week I will have the next step.

You get that email when they process your application if you check your mybc you will see points have been updated

I plan to go to the south campus!

Central or south campus. South is closer to me but I prefer central

Central Campus! :cat:

North Campus

North Campus here too :D

I live 6-7 minutes away from North. But I wouldn't mind Central, it's a beautiful campus hands down and it has a good aura there! It's definitely my second choice.

I'm just curious but are some of the reasons why anyone would favor central over south, beisides distance? I'm having trouble figuring out which one I wanna go to. Some say south is super rough but you gain a lot from it.

Does anyone know what hospitals Central campus goes to?

As well as South and North campuses? I can't seem to find it on Broward's website. I am just so curious ☺️

In general, this is how it works with the hospitals:

South Campus - Memorial Healthcare System

Central Campus- Central Broward County Hospitals (plantation, westside, cleveland clinic, etc.)

North Campus- North Broward County Hospitals (Northwest, Coral Springs, North Broward, etc.)

All campuses use Broward General.

Has anyone had their status change from in review to pre admission?
