Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

am i the only one that thinks matthew will definitely turn around and hit us again for the sole purpose of postponing decisions again :roflmao::cry:

We sure hope not! My team wants to get decisions out as much as you want to know!

I just opened a fortune cookie and my fortune read "Wednesday will be your lucky day". It's a sign... finger crossed decision are sent Wednesday!

We shall see. Glad everyone is safe. I know it's pounding central and upper Florida now so if anyone has any relatives on the northeastern Florida hope their safe.

Oh i know... it's just a funny thought. that would be my luck lol

Quick question about the program if anyone knows. In regards to clinicals, is that going to be every week of the program starting from like week 2 or 3? How does it work.

Hello Everyone,

Good luck to everyone and I hope all is well after Matthew. Does anyone know of the supply list for the program? Specifically the books and editions for our intended semester please? I think we would be wise to get a head start on purchasing and reading ahead. I believe they are using the 9th Edition Perry/Potter, but wasn't sure if that was going to be upgraded this semester? Thanks in advance to all your replies.

PS- Nichole, you have always been an amazing advisor to me (efficient, professional and knowledgeable), but what you are doing on this board is just beyond your job description. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I hope BC appreciates you :)

i wouldn't start buy the books yet. they are expensive and the list could be changed before we make it to registration. just my 2 cents.

hahaha!! I totally did! Not anymore though! I'm telling myself it will be a Friday. That way I stop obsessing, because this is not good for my health! lol

Does anyone know what campus they want to attend if admitted? I was thinking between south and central but I am having a hard time deciding. I live closer to south campus, but I would not mind going a little out of my way for central if their nursing program is better. Or is the nursing program on all 3 campuses of the same caliber?

central but i'm closer to north so i'm leaving that open as a second option :)
