Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

My GPA is 3.2, I am also super nervous and anxious but I am trying to remain patient. Lol it doesn't help that this hurricane is happening! Everyone please stay safe!!!! Ahhhh We will know soon enough let's try to remain positive.

Nichole, the time you take to post on here to give us clarity is GREATLY appreciated. If it weren't for you, most of us would be lost. It is a hardworking process for you and the those you're working with. Thank you so much for your help. I cannot wait to find out!

I don't know if this is normal but on my limited access page where it says application fee it says N/A :/ although I paid should I be worried?

If it says N/A, it means you paid it and it is not available to pay anymore. ��

I can't wait to find out... I am currently not taking classes and I feel bored. My friend is about to take her first final in the nursing program and warns me I won't be bored for long but I'm not afraid . I can't wait for the challenges I'm just praying I am excepted

Only a few more days, I am anxious as well. Thankfully this storm wasn't as bad as expected so far, but hopefully it doesn't affect the rest of central and northeast florida too bad either.

Hello everyone....

It seems like hurricane Matthew has spared us. Thank God! I can't wait until next week, I am so anxious. I'll be extremely happy when this step of the process is over. I can't help but think about all the rumors I've heard regarding the program while I was taking my pre-requisites. I was told by several of my classmates that GPA was not a major factor of the selection process and as long as you had 2.9, I would be fine and that HESI was just a matter of passing. I actually knew some students that settled for a C in A/P because of these rumors. I'm so happy I did not follow that path. I definitely would have regretted doing so.

hello yes everything is good hope the same for you. I'm super anxious as I know everyone is and we really appreciate what you do. Do you think we will know Monday or early in the week. I know you guys are probably swamped just trying to get an idea mainly because I want to start figuring life out for the next 18 mo if I do get in. I currently have a 3.0 and I know working is not recommended. Can't wait for decisions. Thank you again

am i the only one that thinks matthew will definitely turn around and hit us again for the sole purpose of postponing decisions again :roflmao::cry:

No it won't be Monday. Mid to end of the week is more likely. Remember we are losing out on two full days of work because the college is closed.
