Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Me! I'm really leaning toward south because its closer to me.

Do anyone know what the lowest gpa that got accepted for the August 2016 term was? I know it changes from term to term, but just curious.

The lowest gpa for August 2016 was a 3.1

Just an FYI-

That email is not sent by health science admissions. Broward College is converting to a new student system. When your information is converted into the new system, not all information is brought over, which prompts the email.

If you have turned in everything listed, you can delete the email.

I have a 3.0 gpa. Hopefully I get in.

Yes I received similar emails which freaks me out, but I was told not to worry about it by my advisor and health Science department .

Ok I was considering Central or South but South is very close to home so I might just go there.

I know the past semester the pre req gpa was 3.1, I am wondering how has it been in the past semesters before that and is it common for this program to have that 3.1 mark?

Honestly, it varies every semester. Some semesters student with a 2.5 get in, others it has been over a 3.0. All depends on the strength of the pool.

Stay safe during the storm!
