Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Good morning all:

I am posting this early so it is on the board....

Broward College has not yet made any announcements to be closed on Thursday and Friday, although I am sure they will come soon since the Broward County schools are closed due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew.

What this means for you?

Our goal was to have decisions out by Friday. That doesn't look like it will be happening. However, the delay should not be more than a few days passed Friday. Once all my team members are in the office, I will assess where they are in processing.

Please keep negative comments directed toward myself OR my team to yourself. Again, I did not have to post any type of update but as a courtesy I am taking the time to keep you guys updated early.

Thank you so much for the update Nichole. Many of us are so greatful to have you keep us sane through this application process :) Haha. For me especially, my application has rolled over from Fall term. I really appreciate what you do for us nursing students. You truly do go above and beyond! :inlove:

I hope everyone else is safe and prepared through Hurricane Matthew, which is headed this way soon. Hopefully it stays in the ocean!

How exciting that decisions will be out soon. Good luck to all, I was awarded 10 points with 3.45 GPA.

I can almost guarantee, it won't be Monday. We will just be getting back in the office after losing out on two full work days... More likely mid to end of the week.

Finally my status updated to application in review ! I was awarded 6 points. It's so hard seeing all these high gpa's and staying hopeful :arghh: I reallllly hope us few with low gpa's get a chance.
