  1. Hey Guys! My Name is Brian and I just finished first semester! I started a Facebook group for you guys! Link is below Log into Facebook | Facebook
  2. Yes. But like I said, they earn them. In a field such as nursing when patients lives are in your hands, you have to be top notch. It's not supposed to be an easy program.
  3. They are doing well. They study all of the time. You get get out what you put in. If you want to do well, you have to put in the effort and study a lot
  4. 75% and up is passing on a test. These programs aren't meant to be easy. The professors are very helpful from what I have gathered from my cousins and other friends in the program already. They don't want you to fail, however, they want the best of the best.
  5. I had a 3.4 overall. If you google Palm Beach State nursing application, you should be able to find something. But yes, you with a bachelors would get an additional point over someone who doesn't have a bachelors. It makes it more competitive that way.
  6. Yes we did get acceptance letters. PBSC uses cumulative GPA not only prerequisite GPA. You get points for each class you take. The more points you get, the better chance you get at getting accepted
  7. Never assume! That happened to me last cycle! I got denied a week after all of the other denials and the same day everybody else got accepted
  8. You got an acceptance letter?
  9. there are about 30 or so members on the facebook page now. More are added everyday.
  10. That is correct. They also don't take summers off. So the ones that make it to the end, finish sooner than PBSC. That is why they are my backup if I don't get in at PBSC.
  11. Broward accepts 250 students. PBSC still only accepts 90
  12. i was so thankful for that!
  13. That's probably what got me. I have a 90.86 on the HESI. 0.14 point away from the next point possible for the HESI! Argh. Lol. I am hoping this is the last time I have to apply
  14. Palm Beach State is a lot closer to me and seems to be a little bit better of a program
