Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Hi Everyone,

My GPA is 3.6 and my HESI overall score is a 82% and 12.00 points on my Limited Access Application.

I had applied for August 2016 term but my GPA was a 2.9 so I didn't get accepted. I then took that time to retake my A&P one with lab at Keiser and was able to get an A and boost up my GPA. I feel very confident now.

I'm so excited now that the deadline is met. It will just be a couple more weeks until we find out *fingers crossed*

I know applications are still being processed however under my points it says 0, is that normal?

Yes this is completely normal. The only reason I have my points already is because my application rolled over from last term. So I already had my points since the Summer Term they were only updated again once they received my transfer credit from Keiser. It will take a couple of days or weeks but I'm positive you'll get your points. I remember my first time applying it took forever and I was freaking out, It's so nerve wrecking.

my points also haven't appeared yet, and I am a nervous wreck. what makes it worse is, if they work alphabetically my last name starts with a V! :/

Ok everyone:

Please stop worrying about the "order" in which applications are entered.

We do not enter them in alphabetical order. That doesn't make sense since we have three people working on applications.

We do not, necessarily, enter applications based on the order they are received. So please do not email us saying your friends application was entered and yours wasn't, but you turned them in on the same day.

Also keep in mind that your application status may change more than once while we are processing them. Not all applications will go into review right away.

If you do not see your application in the system around early October, then worry. For now, don't give yourselves more stress than life already throws at you.

Hey guys, here's a link to the PDF for Process 1... Perry and Potter Fundamentals 8th Ed. I'm pretty sure we'll be using the 9th Ed. but this is still helpful if you want to start looking over vitals, health assessment, infection control etc. right now.

I have a 4.0.... It's been a long road and I can't wait to start. I have two kids so I am anxious to see the schedule and everything...
