Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Okay I just checked and it says my transcripts have been evaluated all that's missing I guess are my high school ones which I'll get done tomorrow.

hey yeah that's normal, they don't starting adding points till after the deadline for all applications. Yesterday the 15th was the deadline so now they start looking at each application and start awarding points based on your pre req gpa..you should see something some points added in a couple weeks from now

Hello Nichole I submitted my application yesterday and today I checked my limited access app and under current status it says "den- transcript not evaluated" what does that mean ? there's an x under "is this requirement met? and college level math course". I completed all my pre reqs and I did college level math. I tried calling but haven't been able to get through. I would appreciate any information about this and if I could please have your email so I may contact you directly. Thank you

That's great, you're went up a lot! Mine is 3.45 now

I hope this question is not too late, but since we were denied last semester and our application was moved to the January 2017 pool, did we have to pay the application fee again? I was under the assumption we didn't have to since I wasn't turning in another application and mine was moved from the August pool.

No we do not have to pay again for the application fee. When I got my transcripts transferred I notified Nichole and she just had them evaluated and then updated my points.

We are working on entering everyone in the system. Please be patient. We have received a lot of applications for the January term.

Before decisions are made, all applications will be updated.

A lot of applications does not necessarily mean high GPAs..... We will have to wait and see how it works out when all applications are processed.
