Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Yay! I also just finished retaking my bsc2085 at Keiser and got an A as a final grade! That will boost my GPA tremendously. I'm so excited for whats to come now :-)

Congrats!!! I'm still trying to figure out how to transfer the Anatomy credits to Broward. I can't figure out how to do it anywhere on the student portal. I am waiting on an email back from my advisor.

Log in to keiser student portal..it's your email address and student number. Our grade is up. I'm not sure if you can do a transcript request from there I didn't try.

I contacted the registar office and they had me fax over a request. It takes 4-5 business days so I would do it ASAP! 954-776-4456 and ask to speak with carol she will give you the correct information you need to fax over a request.

I've taken anatomy 2 twice already. The first time I dropped and the second time I received a C. Is it possible to take it again at keiser university and will it effect me since this would be my 3rd try

Hi. I just took my HESI this past Saturday and I am proud to say I passed! I have been searching for the application paper and can not seem to find it. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction and let me know how to proceed in the application process and where I may find the application paper or if I have to go to Broward to get it. Thank you in advance!

You have to print the application and fill out correctly and drop off at Campus.

Thanks for the help. I have the form filled out and I'm scanning it over to Bryna today. They sent in a non-official too just to be safe. Almost 2 weeks until applications are possibly being looked at! :laugh:

Does anyone know if they have started to look at the January applications? Has anyone's points updated?

We have 14 days í ½í¹ˆ Hopefully it doesn't get pushed back or at least pushed back too far!

We have not started reviewing for acceptance yet. It will not happen until after September 15. We don't anticipate actually sending out any decisions until the end of September/beginning of October.

Hi everyone!

I'm applying for Spring 2017 admission to the nursing program. I completed the prerequisites for admission, I still have to do CHM and MCB though but as they're not needed for admissions I want to go ahead and apply now to start the program in January.

I'm going to take the HESI next week and I'm sorry if anyone has asked or answered this already but does anyone mind sharing how they studied for the exam or any advice they may have about it? How was the exam?
