Hey everyone!!!! I wanted to start this topic a little early since I am applying for the May program, but really want to get into the August program. Post all questions, comments, concerns, issues, below and good luck to everyone!!!!!
Hello Future Nurses,I plan on applying for August 2017 as well, I'm currently taking a&p 2 and it's kicking my butt. I also have yet to take the Hesi. Any tips on the Hesi? I hear so many different thing
The teste isn't too hard, very general. The anatomy is very basic so just make sure you have general knowledge of the systems.
Hey everyone! I'm applying to the North campus for the August 2017 nursing program. Anyone else applying to North? :)
My GPA is good but haven't cracked the Hesi yet. I heard there is a Hesi prep class that is a week long (and $99) at Central campus but not sure if I need to go that far. How does it work to take it in "parts" like a few of you have mentioned? I may separate out the math part if it seems challenging. My pre-reqs will be completed on May 1. I'm planning on working through the summer though I don't know where yet.

Good morning,
When you apply, you are applying to the program, not a particular campus. If you choose to take the Math separate, you will pay the $65.00 fee, twice.

Hello everyone. I hope that this message finds everyone in good spirits and health. This is going to be my 4th attempt at entering the Broward Nursing program. I was part of last years class that was the first to have students with a 3.0 not get in (my GPA was a 3.09 and I was chosen as an alternate). I finally decide to bite the bullet and pay to retake A&P 1 at Keiser (my gpa is much higher now). I would recommend doing this for anyone serious about trying to get into Broward with a GPA of 3.1 or lower, in the long run it's a small price to pay. There is a reason why Broward's program is so highly coveted. Simple put, if you make it out, you will get a job. I have many friends that have gone through the program and many that have not. I know many of you have heard how difficult the program is gonna be, but I have heard that as long as you are focused on the task at hand and find a good study group you will be fine. All in all good luck to everyone on there journey. As I have said before no matter what the outcome be proud of yourselves and push on. Oh FYI the HESI is a cakewalk (my overall was a 92% and a basically tuned out at the end), get the App it does help. Also for those who think that they are apply to a certain campus, it doesn't work that way. You can try to get in to a certain campus, but you go where there are seats. Once again good luck to everyone.

Thank you, Samantha!
That is the app I have been using. I have been pretty nervous about it. The anatomy and math portion worries me the most as I do not like math. Congraulations on your scores! You did wonderful. I hope I can do that well.
Thank you for replying!
