Broward College Nursing Program August 2017

Hey everyone!!!! I wanted to start this topic a little early since I am applying for the May program, but really want to get into the August program. Post all questions, comments, concerns, issues, below and good luck to everyone!!!!!

Thanks for the advice!!!!!!! What campus did you attend? Did you find it difficult to get a job right after graduating?

I attended the Davie Campus. Not sure if the professors are the same. I love being a nurse. You wil have no problem finding a job. Of course as a new grad, the pay will be lower, but you will find yourself soon making a decent salary. I went on to complete my BSN with Chamberlain and now in search of an NP school.. Never give up. Dreams come at a cost.

Davie Campus. I have to mentioned that I was in the transition LPN-RN. This made it a little easier. But, everything come at a price in life. It is so worth it. A few places panic at the ideas of hiring new nurses, forgetting that you must get your experience from somewhere. But eventually one will. Great profession. I went on to complete my BSN with Chamberlain and now looking for an NP school. Brush up on your math skills.

I took the HESI- everything but a&p -- I got an

89% in Reading

100% Grammar

85% in Math

89% Vocabulary

just need to go take the A&P part, I wanted to take them separately, so I didn't get overwhelmed with the studying !

hello guys im also applying for august im retaking a&p 1 for a higher grade but once i finish the class ill have a 3.3 gpa not the highest but im hoping to get in finally, this is my third time applying, my gpa was a 2.7 so it didnt make the cut several times. good luck to you all!

i'm currently taking it now, at keiser. pretty challenging since i'm doing it online its a lot of work load but i'm aiming for an A that'll bring me up to a 3.3 and hopefully that will give me a place in the program.

Nice!!! I retook mine there too. I think I will have enough points to get in for may but I am gonna choose august. 3.3 should be enough to get in if trends continue.

If you get accepted for May, and choose not to attend, you need to reapply for the August term.

how did you guys pay for keiser? I need to retake the math course there, but they want $2200 for one class.. ugh.. and they said I cant get financial aid at BC and keiser at the same time. Otherwise I have to wait for January!
