Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

Bethany, do you know if all the alternates were accepted into the program from last semester or only some? I'm so discouraged because last year people with a 3.0 were accepted and I have a 3.0 now all of us with a 3.0 are Alternates pending seat avail. This really sucks :(

The ones that I know of was for last August term and January term. I know that's totally discouraging. My friends and I that applied have other friends who also have 3.0 and are alternates as well:(

I have read on previous posts that every year the applicant pool is completely different and that we can't just go off of that. I've seen some people with 2.8 get in on previous threads but each year is so different. My friend who got in as an alternate had a 2.9 I believe and she found out at orientation that they were allowing all alternates into the program last year.

Currently, the lowest GPA that I know has been accepted for our term is 3.4 :/

Oh wow, well I hope this year is the same. Nursing is my passion and I have been waiting for this forever. I really do not want to have to end up going to another school like a private one because they are too expensive. There is just no way I can wait until January I have two small children and I am on a time frame. God willing all of us Alternates will get in.

I'm in with a 3.3, one of my friends is in with a 3.1, and the other is an alternate :(

Yes all 3.0 are alternates like me :( I wonder how many alternatives actually go through and get in
