Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

Yes all 3.0 are alternates like me :( I wonder how many alternatives actually go through and get in

I'm so upset :( now we have to wait even longer to see if we will be chosen since we are alternates. I pray we get in. If not I will unfortunately have to start looking stat for some private school to get into for August which I would dread but there is no way I can wait until January to start. I'm on a strict time frame due to personal reasons. Let's see how this turns out.

Alternate doesn't mean we didn't get in. It means we are in but they don't currently have a "saved seat" for us as of yet. So there is still plenty hope of us getting a seat!!

Is there a semester where no alternates are chosen ? I just want to realistically know my chances in so sad that even with out 3.0 we are not in

I don't know. It depends if people answer reply back to Nichole on time or if they pass the drug/background check. We will find out everything when we the emails tomorrow and attend the orientation

Alternates attend orientation ? I did hear last year all alternates got in and for May their were 25 alternates I don't know how many got it tho I'm so hopeful tho

I wonder how many alternates there are and how many of us will get in í ½í¸ž Trying to stay hopeful before applying to different schools

sheylla1994 my gpa is 2.9 and mine still says application in review. :( it sucks that we aren't even considered an alternate.
