I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
I paid mine right away but I think you have to pay it so they can process it
Ugh I forgot to ask her if I can pay it at the end of this week. Hopefully because they won't start reviewing applications until after the deadline, I'll have time.
You have to pay it to get your application processed.
I know but if the deadline is Monday I want to know if I pay it Friday will I still be ok or does it have to be paid the same day you submit the application?

Not sure. I paid mine right away. But if it is standard like most programs I would think you would need to have the application fee paid before your application is looked at.

Hello can anyone help me out my high school transcripts are still not showing I sent them electronically from my high school to broward on March 6 and they even confirmed that they were received on the 15th of May but no one can confirm if they were received I was also told that the deadline is now may 20. As oppose to May 15. Can anyone help to see who I can talk to about this issue thanks
Go see Jessica in the health science office at Central. She's a ton of help and I was having the same issue except I've been a student at Broward for a year now and my transcripts were in the system since 2009.
Yeah they won't look at your application unless the fee is paid I believe. It's one of the checkpoints on the limited access application status.
From what I've been reading, they don't look at the applications at all until after the deadline. Which is why I wanted to know if we have until then to pay the fee. I just had to pay another $65 yesterday to retake the Hesi so I have to wait until payday to pay the fee. But I'm going to call in the morning to verify and if I have to pay it before Friday I'll just have to use my credit card I guess í ½í¸•.
