I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
I'm going to do that im also going to play it safe and go to my high school On Monday and physically pick up my transcripts and hand them to broward so I can be sure they are in the system before the May 20 deadline !! Lol
Ughhh why more waiting? I can't believe they would push down the deadline. This really sucks. A lot of us are so anxious to know if we are accepted we need to get all things ready before we start nursing school and there is so much to do!! 😡 Hopefully they still have the May 15 deadline.

Ugh!! I agree!! Hopefully they start looking around the 15th like they planned [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] I finally finish my HESI and turned in my application and then hearing they would tell us by the end of May was awesome now we gotta wait longer [emoji19]
Guys someone relax me !! [emoji30] my friend who was in the nursing program a year ago is freaking me out saying if I could take the HESI test again to get higher than 80s I should since my GPA isn't as high!

The HESI is only used as a tie breaker for GPA. They start filling seats from highest GPA and so on and if there are ties they'll refer to the HESI. But I know people with 2.6 GPA still have gotten in.

She's right! Don't stress over the Hesi. I know of people that got in with a 2.5 gpa and are still in. And remember that the gpa they look at isn't your BC gpa, it's going to be from only ENC1101, AP1&2, and the labs
