Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

hows the program going so far guys??? everything you expected??

All my certifications were done on CEUFAST and they were accepted at the office. You'll be fine if you do them through CEUFAST.

awesome!! thank you so much for getting back to me!

I still have the nursing supply kit if anybody needs it. Never used it, switching schools so I never got to finish process one. I dont want to just throw it away so let me know if anyone is interested in buying it.

Hey you guys, I got accepted for January 2017. I was just wondering if anyone can give an in sight on what I should be expecting in fundamentals. I have already gone out and purchase the new edition book on my own a month ago and reading some chapters. Can anyone say how it is going for them and their experience?

May I ask which school are you going to?

Should you buy everything prior to being accepted or no? lol I'm just excited

Reading the chapters and answers nclex type of questions. Use the fundamental success book to familiarize yourself with answering those type of questions and the rationale behind it.

Sure. I'm going to either Nova or Chamberlain.

I was thinking about Florida Career College but i heard i won't be able to transfer my credit to a university when i want to do my BSN

Im not really sure how they work but at chamberlain I would graduate with my BSN. They are transfering over my credits from broward (like the math, english, micro, ect.) so that I wont be there for 3 years. I would do the program in 2 years instead. So basically if you do your associates at florida career, they wont take those nursing credits somewhere else? Sorry, not sure what you meant
