Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!

Yeah we took out exam today and already got results and we also start process 2 this Friday. I'm printing out the material the teacher sent us and getting ready. Might do some reading during the week so I can have an idea of what we'll be covering on Friday

Passed process I! Now on to process II on Friday!! We can do it guys! Slowly but surely getting through the toughest semester! I was surely frightened about this test today but by God's will, studying and practicing I made it through. As they say if you can get through process I and II during the summer you'll be fine the rest of the way so remember to keep your eyes on the prize! For August newbies yes get your physical/vaccinations and all that out the way because deadlines are no joke when it comes down to turning your things in. Man I haven't posted here in a while I know you guys look for them but to be honest nursing school became our entire lives. No time for anything extra at all.

Congrats for nearing the end! What a ride it has been I'm sure! I am starting in Aug, plan on getting the Perry and Potter Fundementals book and the PP Skills book. Anything other books I should get before I start so I can be ahead before I begin in Aug? Congrats again! :yes:

Hey Acitrone2011! Long time! You'll definitely need those 2 books and also the Jarvis physical examination pocket book not the big one. That's to help u with physical assessments for return demos. Good luck in August!

Hi iHeartKey so far for process 1 the 3 hospitals were memorial regional, south and memorial manor. Process 2 same except no manor and I believe memorial west is included. Basically they do all the memorial hospitals.

Hey dolfanjenny sorry to bother, I'm going to be attending south campus in august there aren't much people on the forum that seem to go there , any advice ? who do you consider to be the best professors? any info will be a huge help thanks :)

Hey stephym12! Yeah you won't find a lot of south campus people on her unfortunately, but I like it. I can't really name any professors on here but the ones I've had so far in process 1 & 2 are nice. They are very different in ways of teaching but you get use to how they work. Don't be intimidated by other people saying "oh you got that professor, man good luck" That is a completely absurd thing to say. When it comes down to it they all have the same rules and treat everyone the same. They may push a little harder on some once in a while but unlike what other people comment about them "Weeding people out" that's bologna! I feel that they push us because they see potential and want people to step up and give it their all! SO all I can say is study, study, study! Know the material! Remember the Nurse is not just suppose to be able to complete a task but also needs to know WHY they are doing it!!!Knowledge!! Good luck in August! Maybe we'll see each other on campus!

Thanks for answering back so quickly and for the amazing advice you've definitely calmed my nerves , you hear so many horror stories that your not sure what to except. Hopefully we see each other on campus. :up:

Good morning, are there any current students who goes to Centrals campus that can give me a heads up on whether I should rent Perry & Potter or buy? Also just some tips on what to look forward to once I get there? I would greatly appreciate it thanks in advance.

You can rent it. For central campus you don't open up Perry and Potter ever again after done with process I and II. I don't think anyone should have a problem with it being rented and you don't really have to say anything. I don't know if by renting you cant highlight (which is how some people study).

But honestly for Perry and Potter just buy one edition earlier. Its pretty much the same info and thats what I did.
