Broward College Nursing May 2014

U.S.A. Florida

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Is the RN program the same as the LPN-RN transition program?

Is the RN program the same as the LPN-RN transition program?

Yes it is. They make it seem as if the LPN to rn option is shorter. They are both 17 months. They disguise it well because generic students take classes all 17 months when we have 6 weeks off. It's the same. Both graduate together.

3 as in 3 students left? Are you serious?

Holy cow. Lol

Hi everyone! I know this thread is pretty much dead lol. I was supposed to be starting for Jan 2015 but will be doing May instead. I just wanted to get feed back on how the work load is for 6 weeks compared to the regular 8 weeks like August and Jan? Is it doable? How do you manage your time to know all the info? Also if you go to North or Central how do you like the campus? Thank you guys in advance!

It's very doable. You have to study a lot and it takes an adjustment. But it's nice in the summer. Classes are smaller or at least ours was. The tests are like every 2 weeks.

Thank you so much for your input I appreciate it!

What campus did you go to and how do you like it for summer term?

How is the program everyone?

I'm still going. Enjoying it but time is going by fast.

When did you start. Did you have to retrack?

May, nope still on track
