Broward College Nursing May 2014

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

I want to go to South. The advisor told me we could choose. How many classes do you take each section for the summer? it is process 1 plus what else? Anyone have an idea of the schedule? I was curious. . And I heard after a few semesters you have a break? Is it next summer or is it different when you start in May? I'm sure that will all be on april 8 but figured I would ask you pros.

thanks for that info...the class I picked was HSC0522 for tomorrow 9-4. I guess it's online then and I don't have to go to class.There are no cpr classes coming up from what I saw

I see a lot of you all saying that you purchased these books on Amazon. Are they not available in the college book store? I am a future nursing student. Congrats to you all as well!

they are cheaper most times (amazon/online)

I finally did my hesi today and got a 91.6 average. For those planning on taking the Hesi I would advise to use the Hesi Admission assesment review and the McGraw Hill Evolve Practice exams. I actually got a few questions on the test that was in the those study guides. I now have everything I need to apply. Is it too late for May? I hope I can still get in for May 2014.
