  1. Yes I'm at central. You need to make a serious commitment to read, practice and study everyday. It is doable but you have to want it and commit 100% to your studies.
  2. I gave birth and this is more laborious than that. I was successful in process 1 lab and lecture but unfortunately many students withdrew to start over in January. We started the semester with 125 and now there's 38 in lecture for process 2 and maybe 20 of those made it to clinicals. I didn't make it to clinicals because I failed the math test that is done without a calculator and you can only miss one question to pass. I am getting by in theory though so I will try next semester and by the grace of God make it in and be successful. I love the campus, students and my professors. The program is very intense and you need to give it your all to get a passing grade. It is true A students with great study habits and work ethics become C students on this program. I want to be nurse, this is my passion do I am going to push on and do everything I need to do to make it to graduation.
  3. Elsevier Hesi admission assessment exam guide. You can find it on amazon. The practice questions in there is similar to the actual exam. Good luck.
  4. Hey Central gals and guys, How did you fair out this week? First hospital day next week so exciting. This is the most studying I've done in a month. We are now well versed into what is expected of us in this program. Commitment, perseverance, consistency and dedication is what we need to make it through this program. Hang in there folks.
  5. What a month, huh? We've only been here since August 25th but we have done a lot. Good luck on return demo tomorrow.
  6. Way to go nursejackie.
  7. Central crew how are things? Math exams this week (can only miss one question) and vital check off tomorrow and return demo next week. The heat is on. Good luck everyone.
  8. Fingers crossed.....
  9. You are going to do much better tomorrow. You have been studying real hard for this. Dont let nerves get in the way. Take deep breaths and just do it.
  10. How did you do on the practice test? Did you do the test taking skills on the computer in the lab? Im here just reading and understanding as much as I can. Just breath and read the questions carefully. Answer what you are asked not what you think they should have asked. Most important.....say a pray and ask God to help you with recall and applying critical thinking to each question. Good luck.
  11. Ok guys be very careful with homework assignments for lab. Read the due dates very carefully. Any missing pages is your responsibility and you will get written up. How is the studying going for Monday's exam?
  12. First week was stressful as in it is new and trying to get organized and do everything that is required to be successful in the program. Trying to put in my 3hr minimum of study time everyday, watch videos on d2l, use study guide, modules and text to prepare for out first exam next monday. NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY.
  13. I think thats the hand out that can be printed off d2l.
  14. Yes I remember you. Im in the 1pm class like you. See you in a bit. I printed a lot of paperwork this morning. I will copy certificates and other stuff in library because my little printer may just sever ties with me if I keep this up. Lol
