Hello nursing students, I see a lot of you all saying that you purchased these books on Amazon. Are they not available in the college book store? I am a future nursing student. Congrats to you all as well!

Hello fellow students, Is there anyone here starting the LPN program in April of 2014? If so, for Atlantic Tech do you know the exact start date? Does anyone have their uniforms/books as of yet? What all do you ladies and gents have left to complete? Also, after you finish the program what are your future plans? Straight to work or maybe a transition program?

I cant seem to find it, every thread that I find hasnt been posted in from years ago, could you please help me find this?

Hey what school are you applying to? They should have given you your TEAS score right after taking the exam. I took my TEAS yesterday and scored a 60.2 I was thrilled because I had no ATI review manual or any other study guide. For Atlantic Tech you only need a 58.7 or something similar. If you want to know your TABE score you can go to https://www.browardschools.com/virtualcounselor/ select studenr and then put in your student number (the same one from high school) and your birth date. Your student number should also be on your first TABE result paper.

So Tuesday attended the LPN Orientation and got my folder to complete everything. Everything is closed Monday due to Memorial Day so will be going to do background/fingerprinting, drug test, physical and everything else on Tuesday. Still have to take TEAS V test

Hey, and no I didn't study at all it was pretty basic, there is a TABE study guide on the website that gives you a pretty good feel of what's on the actual test

So I passed my TABE with flying colors, (whew, wipes sweat off forehead). Went and got registered for the LPN orientation, in which after I can take my TEAS test. Here come's the real anxiety!

Hello, is anyone starting the August or other upcoming LPN programs at any of the South FL tech schools (Sheridan, McFatter, or Atlantic)? How is the registration progress going? TEAS testing and so forth? I am aiming for the August program at Atlantic, so far have only completed the TABE which I passed, have to go in and speak with a counselor and discuss TEAS testing next.

Oh okay. For the TEAS what did you use for studying the math and science sections? Do you remember what you scored?

Wow, is it hard/challenging? Was the TEAS test hard? Did financial aid cover your books?

How is it? Is it a very heavy workload?

Im set to start in August too at Atlantic Tech here in South FL, have to take my Tabe and Teas V tests, sheesh I didn't know the books were so expensive though, and I don't believe financial aid covers them. Anyone else attending ATI, Sheridan, or McFatter tech?
