Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Go to CareerSource Broward > Home to watch their videos. Click on career services, then develop new skills and scroll down to view /complete the WIOA/Universal Orientation videos. You need that before you can attend their info session which is usually on Mondays at 8:45 am. You must be in the room at 8:45 am! That information is for career Source Broward North on sample road. Family of 1, 2, and 3, annual income is 40,707. 00. Family of 4 is $48,500.00 add $8,320 for each additional family member.

So, the south campus bookstore is frustrating. I went to the book store to get the orientation packet to try to get a refund because i think i got the wrong one. It all started when i read some of the material inside i was wondering why it said year 2015-2016 on one of the forms. I went back later the same day to try to get a refund because i thought it was the wrong packet. Apparently the employee told me that these are brand new. But it doesn't make sense because some of the documents in the orientation packet doesn't look like it is for our semester. The schedule looks like someone who would start in august instead. I still have the orientation packet and couldn't get the refund. What do i do? Is it the right packet or should i get another one?

- In front it says 2016-1 for the term and i know our term is 2016-2, but the problem is they said those packets were the only ones they have. Help.

Check with the RN program office on South Campus. They are in building 72.

Have been trying to get into north. Keep checking. No luck. As of now am attending central.

You probably can't buy it until right before your orientation. That's probably an old one.

You bought it too early wait until November to get the correct packet.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread. Thought I would join to chat about classes, etc. I will be attending Central campus. I have seen a few discussions about our CEU's on CEUfast.com but I am a little confused. Some of the classes are named the exact same or don't have the same hours. Can someone that finished them on there post exactly which ones they took? I'm sorry I'm a little behind. I've been out of town since our pre-admission meeting so trying to get everything started now. Cant wait to meet you all!!

I went to quest to drug test the other day and they told me they no longer give any type of receipt so I called south campus and the woman I spoke to in the nursing department told me to bring the receipt from when we payed the 30 dollar drug test fee and that would work but I'm still going to make an appointment to have all my paperwork checked before I turn it in.

Yes.. they are electronic however, they can give you a receipt

I made them give one. They can go to the one by memorial south. Very little wait as well

When you leave quest they give you a tiny piece of paper which is your receipt.
