Brookhaven Nursing Fall 2015

U.S.A. Texas

Hi!

I can't seem to locate a thread regarding applicants for Brookhaven's fall 2015 nursing program... so I wanted to start one! If there is another, please redirect me- thanks!

I plan to apply in February for acceptance to Brookhaven's fall 2015 class. I am working on my dosage calculations course by 2/20 (cutting it close!) and that is all I have left! It looks like they changed the point scoring system since just a few months ago- did anyone see that? I am always looking for guidance and support in this process, so, I am hoping this thread can provide that for me and everyone else involved!

I look forward to virtually meeting other BH fall '15 applicants!

Oh man, I really don't believe so- but I honestly don't remember- I took it last September and have definitely slept since then....and taken lots of tests since then! Lol. Sorry that's not much help!

I wonder why there are not more applicants for the fall 2015 posting - hmm.

I've wondered the same thing! All of the previous application period threads seem to have so many participants. Maybe we are the only ones applying:D

It would be nice if the competition is less:yes:.

It would be nice if there wasnt much competition this semester. I am taking my dosage test this week and then submitting my application next week as long as I ass the dosage exam.

Good luck on your dosage calculations exam! Make sure you are comfortable with your conversions:)

Good luck on your dosage calculation exam!! I take my hesi on the 20th.

Where are you taking your hesi?

Maybe we'll all get in!

Hi guys! I am also applying for Fall 2015. I am curious about the dosage calc though. I took it in February when it was online, and I was told the score was good for 2 years. But now that it's classroom based, I hope that doesn't change anything. Anyone know?

I didn't know there was a time limit on how long your Dosage Calc. was good for. If they told you it was good for 2 years then it is good for 2 no matter what, but you can always call up to Brookhaven and talk to Barb, she's really nice.

I don't know but I imagine it is the same. Shoot Dr. Meyer an email. He usually responds quickly! Our in-class results are good for 2 years, and when I learned that the option was now in-class, he told me that the online people were being grandfathered in. It is definitely worth asking though!

Here is his email: [email protected]

And his phone: 972-860-4546

How'd everyone else do on their tests that were taking them in the last week??? I am still shocked that we haven't had a bigger response to this thread!
