Hi all! I thought I would start a new thread for all the people who got in Brookhaven's Fall 2010 program. I figured the people who did not get in would not want to see our posts anymore.
I did want to let you all know that I asked my friend that is first semester at Brookhaven, and she said that the scrubs they wear for clinical rounds are hunter green. They have to be embroidered on the back "brookhaven college" and the front has to have your name. Apparently there is a special order form that will be sent to us by ***. She suggests that you get 2 pairs when *** sends the order form, becasue she only got one, and she is now ordering an extra pair. She also said that she bought some other scrubs (all different colors) to wear when she is at school, because it is easier to work in. *** will e-mail us about all this but thought I would clue you in on what I know.
Anyone else got any news? LOL

Hi Samira and Welcome! I think it all boils down to personal preference when it comes to the book package. Alot of people don't like or don't have time to scour the internet for book deals and would rather go straight for the packaged deal. I, on the other hand, would rather save some money and get the used books.
I don't know about you but I am SO anxious to start!! I am counting down the days till August!! I keep telling myself to enjoy the summer, and this time with my kids, but it's just so hard to not think about it!!
I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in having a meet up, kinda like a meet and greet sometime maybe early July?? A lot of you I already know but I thought it would be neat if we got to know each other before August. Let me know if you would be interested and I will set something up.
I am interested in getting together. I will be out of town the first week of July, but if that's what works for everyone else I will definitely understand.
