Hi all! I thought I would start a new thread for all the people who got in Brookhaven's Fall 2010 program. I figured the people who did not get in would not want to see our posts anymore.
I did want to let you all know that I asked my friend that is first semester at Brookhaven, and she said that the scrubs they wear for clinical rounds are hunter green. They have to be embroidered on the back "brookhaven college" and the front has to have your name. Apparently there is a special order form that will be sent to us by ***. She suggests that you get 2 pairs when *** sends the order form, becasue she only got one, and she is now ordering an extra pair. She also said that she bought some other scrubs (all different colors) to wear when she is at school, because it is easier to work in. *** will e-mail us about all this but thought I would clue you in on what I know.
Anyone else got any news? LOL

:yeah:I'd love to get together and meet everyone. Some former nursing students used to meet at the MIDWAY POINT @ Midway just south of LBJ for snacks and beer. It's close to campus. But I'm open for anywhere.
Hi Ed! (It's Debbie) I know where the Midway Point is, and you are right~~it is close to campus. Sounds good to me! I would like to vote for the 2nd week of July as my dad is coming into town to visit the 1st week, and I will be tied up with previously made plans!

I actually went scrub shopping today!!! I bought two pairs of hunter green scrubs (for clinicals) and a couple pairs for just wearing to school. The Grey's Anatomy scrubs ROCK!!!!!! I want to live in them!!! Unfortunately they don't have them in hunter green so I bought them as my extra scrubs. BTW just in case anyone was wondering, A** told me the other day that we are going to get an e-mail soon about scrubs, etc, but that we do not have to buy the scrubs through them we just have get hunter green scrubs and use their embroidery place. So I went ahead and got some. It was so much fun!!!! I can't wait to live in them!! HAHA
For everyone that was just accepted into the fall 10 can you please tell me what your gpa was when u got accepted and how many points did you have and did you complete all your support courses? all help is greatly appreciated.
