Bristol Community College-Fall 2015?!

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hey aspiring nurses,

I haven't seen a forum for the BCC applicants for fall 2015 yet, so here we go!! Who's applying to BCC? It would be nice (& is my hope) to become a support team to cheer each other on! I'd like to hear where you are in your process and if you're also applying to other schools.

As for me, my application is in, I just need to do Micro. Any suggestions for Micro professors?

I'm very excited and I'm sure you are, as well. Can't wait to hear from you all!

--All support is welcome! Any BCC nursing affiliates, feel free to chime in, as well--

:)

This is the longest month ever.

Hi everyone! I also applied for nursing at bcc for the fall. Does anyone know when they start sending out letters? I feel like it's later and later every year. I got accepted to Laboure too, but BCC is my first choice.

I believe they said mid-March during the info session I went to this past fall.

So I applied in December for bcc and got an email that the application went though (like 10 min after I sent it online) but I never got anything in the mail that is was being reviewed. Is this normal? And when are they suppose to send acceptance letters out?

AmandaJoy, I believe it is normal not to receive anything until they send out letter. Last year they send out letters in mid-March but this year the application deadline was 1 month earlier. Wishful thinking that we will find out earlier but prepared to wait until mid-March.

Okay thanks! The waiting is killing me

I'm surprised how few posts there are on this thread compared to the same time last year. I'm wondering if it reflects less applications than the prior year?

We can only hope!

Has anyone where taken the Kaplan? How does it compare to the teas? A school I applied to requires the Kaplan instead of teas

southshore, I was thinking the same thing. I sure hope there are less applicants this year, it would benefit us.

So who is going to be the first one to call BCC to find out the status of when letters can be expected? :)

Haha, I've been waiting for someone to make the call and update the board. I'm too chicken to do it myself.

I broke down and called BCC. First the admissions office told me letters would go out mid-April. I did not like that response so I called the Health Science Nursing department and was told the same time. I remember reading in threads from past years that they were also told mid-April just so the school would stop getting calls. I really hope we do not need to wait until April to find out. We need answers so we can plan our lives accordingly. Ughhhh I wish I didn't call.
