Bristol Community College-Fall 2015?!

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hey aspiring nurses,

I haven't seen a forum for the BCC applicants for fall 2015 yet, so here we go!! Who's applying to BCC? It would be nice (& is my hope) to become a support team to cheer each other on! I'd like to hear where you are in your process and if you're also applying to other schools.

As for me, my application is in, I just need to do Micro. Any suggestions for Micro professors?

I'm very excited and I'm sure you are, as well. Can't wait to hear from you all!

--All support is welcome! Any BCC nursing affiliates, feel free to chime in, as well--

:)

Yeah if they told us, that'd at least give us some peace of mind. I mean I don't even know how good of a chance I have, I'm walking into this blind! Lol BCC is my top choice too, I really don't want to go anywhere else.

I remember people in previous years talk about when their last degree audit was? Does anyone know why that matters? My last audit was 12/30/14.

Mine was yesterday. I do know they change you degree in degree works to nursing about a week before you get your acceptance

Why was mine so long ago? It's kind of freaking me out. :nailbiting: I did put in my application in October the day they started taking applications. But still. How about everyone else?

Unfortunately I don't have access to DegreeWorks. I only have access to MyAccess BCC because I took the TEAS there. =(

My degree works updates every day.

I did mine in mid November

I submitted my application end of November and made appointment with admissions in December to have them review to make sure it was complete.

Southshore, I think in access bcc you can either look at student info or unofficial transcript to see if your major changes. It is changed the day they mail the letters so it is early notice.

TC_2014 don't get discouraged about your GPA, if you have all 4.0's since you've been back, I think they will understand you aren't the same student as 20 years ago. They like you to be strong in the sciences, so if you got 4.0's in A&P I & II and in Micro then you will look like a great candidate. I graduated in 2013 from BCC but I did the LPN to RN so I only had to do the 2nd year of the nursing program. I find that they usually send the letters out when spring break is starting, hopefully you all find out soon. Good luck to all of you!!!

Thanks Sheryl18 for the encouragement!

Hi everyone 😊 I was in the program last year and failed out. I reapplied for this year, and I'm so nervous. I wish everyone the best of luck.

kylebrian97, Welcome to the group. I am sure you are a wealth of knowledge on the application process so please share anything helpful. The waiting is excruciating and it must be worse the second time. I am sure you will be at the top of the list since you were already accepted.
