WGU - off to a bad start
I also never had any problems with communication with WGU. My enrollment counselor always called when he said he would and my student mentor did as well. I finished the program in just under a year and am so happy that I did it. Good luck to you!

What do you do if none of the times your mentor...
My mentor was available early morning and some evenings, she was very flexible. Good luck, I hope you are able to work it out easily.

Bsn at western governors
I also had 34 CU's to complete and it took me 11 months and 2 weeks and that was with a lot of procrastination on my part. I could of been done a lot sooner if I wanted. That's what I loved about WGU if I had a busy week or just didn't want to do schoolwork I could do that, it's flexible. It's hard to say what class is easier or harder because it's different for everyone. Some people think biochemistry is really hard. For me it wasn't, I thought it was fun. There wasn't really a class that I thought was overly hard just some were more time consuming and tedious. Good luck!

Ideas for groups run by RNs?
We run Med Ed, nutrition, hygiene and anything related to health

Just Starting this Journey
I agree, do the PA first, then study all of your weak areas using the coaching report. It is not necessary to do all the review guides, writing in journals etc that the COS tells you to do. Only focus on what you need to pass the class. Good luck!!

RN to BSN @ WGU
I received my Associates through a community college and they accepted those credits. They didn't accept any credits for my vocational school where I received my LPN. I had 34 CU's to do in total.

Tips for getting through RN to BSN ASAP
Also as soon as you have access to your degree plan, which is usually about 2 weeks before your start date for the program, start working on tasks. You won't be able to submit them, but in 2 weeks if you are that motivated you will be able to finish at least a course or 2 and then as soon as it's open for you to submit the task or take a test, do it. Biochem and care of the older adult are usually 2 of the 1st classes that most people do and get out of the way. Good luck!

RN to BSN @ WGU
They give you access to online books, mentor videos and links to websites all in the COS (course of study). You then do your own additional research on the internet if you need more information. I only used the WGU library for literature searches for my Evidence Based Practice course. Good luck!

3 Credits to go! Let the TaskStream stalking begin!
I am number 5 now, getting there! I had to wait 4 days for biochem before so that was my longest but it was right before they started showing you where you were in the queue, so I had no idea why it was taking so long. I am hoping to know before I go to bed, lol!
